About the Role

We are seeking an Entry-Level Event Assistant to support our team with the coordination and execution of promotional events in the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment, and wants to develop professional communication and organizational skills.

As an Event Assistant, you will help prepare event spaces, greet attendees, provide information about featured products and services, and assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of scheduled events. Full training is provided to ensure you are confident in your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of promotional events.
• Welcome customers and create a positive experience for event attendees.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions.
• Answer general customer questions professionally.
• Help maintain an organized and presentable event area.
• Work closely with team members to ensure events run efficiently.
• Follow company policies and client guidelines.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or event experience is beneficial but not required.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability may occasionally be required depending on scheduled events.
