What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Safety Representative position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking Site Safety Representatives to oversee construction projects in the Greater Atlanta area. These positions are anticpated to start immediately and will last approximately 6-12 months on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule for 40-50 hours/week. These individuals will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for local sites.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification is required.
- Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
- Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Candidates should have 7 years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
- Strong background in electrical safety is required.
- Experience with fall protection, cranes, rigging, and confined space is required.
