FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Administrator for a large commercial construction client near Clarksville, AR. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career advancement within the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team.

This entry-level to early-career position is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of administrative or safety support experience who is looking to build a long-term career in construction safety. The Safety Administrator will provide administrative, clerical, and organizational support to the Safety Manager and project teams by maintaining safety documentation, coordinating training records, assisting with compliance reporting, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping across a single project site.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize all safety-related documentation, including OSHA logs, inspection reports, permits, training records, and incident files.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing safety orientation materials and ensuring required documentation is completed.
  • Schedule and track employee safety training, certifications, and renewals.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Enter, update, and audit safety data within company databases and reporting systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly safety reports, dashboards, and other administrative summaries.
  • Coordinate the distribution of safety communications, toolbox talks, and company safety policies.
  • Assist with incident and near-miss reporting by collecting documentation and maintaining investigation files.
  • Order and maintain inventory of safety supplies, PPE, signage, and first aid equipment.
  • Coordinate meetings, safety committee schedules, and project safety calendars.
  • Support OSHA compliance efforts by organizing documentation requested during audits or inspections.
  • Communicate professionally with project managers, field supervisors, subcontractors, and employees regarding safety documentation and training requirements.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Assist the Safety Manager with special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of safety administrative experience, preferably supporting construction, industrial, or manufacturing operations.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in commercial construction or an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and construction safety documentation.
  • Experience using safety management software or document management systems.
  • OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Salary : $40,007 - $55,305
