What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Safety Manager position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Lead Safety Manager for a large construction client near Meridian, MS. This is a full-time permanent opportunity that will offer a generous base salary, a lucrative benefits package, and provide the opportunity for future growth. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites.
Evaluating Practices & Procedures:
Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements
Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
Education /Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is strongly preferred
- 10 Years of commercial construction experience within a Lead or Owner's Safety Representative role is required
- OCIP and CCIP experience and experience overseeing projects valued greater than $2 Billion is required
- BCSP Certification is strongly preferred
