What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Safety Representative position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking Field Safety Representatives for a 18-month commerical construction project Washington, DC. This individual will be expected to work on a Monday-Friday schedule (day shift) for approximately 40 hours/week. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites.
Hourly Pay Range: $45-$50/hour (based on experience and project scope)
Evaluating Practices & Procedures:
Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements
Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
Education /Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is preferred
- 5 Years of commercial construction experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge in electrical safety, identifying hazards, and writing reports is strongly preferred
- CHST and OSHA 510 Certifications are preferred
