What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Safety Representative position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Field Safety Representative to oversee a 2-month project within a manufacturing facility near Wentzville, MO. This position is anticipated to start in early December on a Monday-Saturday nightshift schedule (5:00pm-3am) for approximately 50-60 hours/week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification preferred.
- Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
- Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Candidates should have 5 years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
- Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
- Experience with cranes, rigging, confined space, and forklift safety is preferred.
