We are exclusively representing a leading development and investment group with over $9 billion in assets under management/development over the past 20 years. With an active pipeline of large-scale, high-density residential and mixed income schemes across New York City.
They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of a ground up new construction project in Brooklyn from inception through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects end-to-end, ensuring strict compliance with the NYC DOB permit process and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Direct field operations, logistics planning, and trade coordination to ensure safe and efficient construction sequencing
- Manage the project schedule, overseeing critical path activities and implementing recovery plans to protect key milestones
- Oversee cost control, change management, and subcontractor buyout - negotiating scope, pricing, and risk allocation across all trades
- Work closely with clients and design teams to ensure delivery aligns with programme requirements and client vision
- Produce monthly project reports, schedule updates, and cost forecasts for ownership and lenders
Requirements
- 5 years of project management experience delivering onground up multifamily or affordable housing
- Strong working knowledge of the NYC DOB permit and inspection process
- Experience within HPD, or New York state regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and trade coordination on large-scale residential projects
- Proactive Project Manager with experience managing and collaborating with ownership, design professionals, lenders, and public agencies

Salary : $150,000 - $185,000
