This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position.

FDM is seeking a Product Owner located in Charlotte to support a project in the Financial Services sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 18 months but may be extended.
This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.
Role Summary
The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the development team by translating business needs into well-defined, prioritized product requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned products, working closely with stakeholders, Scrum Masters, and other Product Owners to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of product initiatives. The Product Owner plays a critical role in aligning business priorities, managing dependencies, and ensuring product releases meet
defined success criteria.
Key Responsibilities
⮚Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.
⮚Own and be accountable for the value delivered by the team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
⮚Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for assigned products in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
⮚Continuously assess business needs, refine priorities, define milestones and deliverables, and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
⮚Optimize the value of work performed by the team through backlog refinement and priority management.
⮚Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related questions and decisions.
⮚Serve as the primary contact for development work performed by the team.
⮚Work closely with the Scrum Master, development team, and other Product Owners to coordinate cross-team and external dependencies.
⮚Partner with key stakeholders to define, plan, and ensure the successful delivery of product releases.
Key Requirements
⮚Proven experience serving as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile delivery environment.
⮚Strong ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable product backlog items.
⮚Experience managing and prioritizing backlogs to maximize business value.
⮚Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
⮚Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Technical & Domain Skills
⮚Familiarity with the CashPro ecosystem, and/or experience in Reporting and Receivables domains.
⮚Strong understanding of SAFe Agile principles and practices.
⮚SAFe Agile Product Owner (PO/PM) certification strongly preferred.
⮚Experience working with distributed and cross-functional agile teams.
