This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position.

FDM is seeking a Manual Test Analyst located in St. Petersburg, FL to support a project in the financial services sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 12 Months but may be extended.
This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.
About You
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will focus on understanding business domain knowledge, developing test plans and test cases, and executing tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. This role requires someone who is eager to learn system workflows, application interactions, and data flow across multiple systems. Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred. Candidates with automation testing experience or a strong willingness to learn automation are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years experience developing a strong understanding of the business domain, application functionality, and system workflows.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to design comprehensive test plans.
- Create and maintain test cases, and test scenarios.
- Execute manual test cases and document test results.
- Conduct functional and regression testing to verify system functionality and maintain application stability, and collaborate with business users to support UAT activities when required.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Understand and validate data flow between multiple applications and systems.
- Participate in test planning, test execution, and defect triage meetings.
- Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Use Azure DevOps (preferred) or similar tools for test management and defect tracking.
- Contribute to test automation efforts by either leveraging existing automation skills or actively learning automation frameworks and tools.
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to quality assurance best practices.
