Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Journeyman position located in Charlotte, NC. The Journeyman will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of mechanical systems and equipment. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, assembling components, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all quality and safety standards are met. The role requires collaboration with team members and adherence to project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Strong hands-on mechanical skills, including assembly, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment with accuracy
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Prior experience in material handling or industrial machinery is a plus
