ABOUT THE JOB:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Scaffold Superintendent to lead operations in our growing scaffolding division. In this role, you’ll oversee the safe and efficient execution of scaffolding projects from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications.

You’ll manage crews, coordinate schedules, and maintain quality control while fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Your leadership and deep knowledge of scaffolding systems will be critical in driving project success and supporting our reputation for excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Lead and direct scaffolding crews, subordinate supervisors, and foremen.
• Champion and enforce all safety procedures, standards, and regulations. This includes conducting inspections for unsafe conditions and leading safety meetings.
• Plan and schedule all scaffolding activities, determine labor and equipment needs, and ensure materials are available.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure the scaffolding plan supports the overall project schedule.
• Monitor work to ensure it complies with project specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
• Management: Manage scaffolding materials, equipment, and inventory. This can include preparing estimates for rentals and maintaining detailed records.
• Maintain all necessary records, documentation, and reports related to scaffolding activities.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of scaffolding erection and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for handling complex situations and resolving issues.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with various teams and personnel

In addition to your passion and purpose, to be successful in this Scaffold Superintendent role, you will possess the following:

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in scaffolding operations within industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scaffolding systems (frame, tube & clamp, system scaffolds) and erection/dismantling procedures.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, ANSI, and local safety regulations, with a proven track record of enforcing compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools.
• Leadership skills with experience managing crews of 10 workers.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Physical capability to inspect scaffolding structures and work in varying site conditions.
• Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, Competent Person for Scaffolding
