Position Summary
The Payroll Manager serves as the subject matter expert and owner of payroll operations and HR technology for FCTG. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for a multi-state workforce while leading the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of our HR systems.
Partnering closely with Finance, HR, and business leaders, this individual will drive data integrity, reporting, process improvements, and system enhancements that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees across multiple sta
- Serve as the primary resource for payroll and HRIS-related questions and support
- Own HRIS administration, configuration, reporting, and system optimization
- Lead system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements
- Partner with payroll vendors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and system performance
- Maintain payroll tax and regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions
- Develop reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support business decisions
- Support compensation processes, audits, and organizational reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and the employee experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in payroll, HRIS administration, and compliance
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG, Workday, ADP, Paycom, or similar systems
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or integrations
- Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities
