Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both commercial and residential spaces.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Recognize and report facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Buff and polish floors to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Skills

• Experience in commercial cleaning practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of custodial techniques and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures.
• Ability to perform residential painting tasks when required.
• Proficiency in buffing and floor care techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management abilities to complete tasks efficiently.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
