Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of various industrial and commercial environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial and commercial cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Sanitize surfaces, workstations, and production areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Carry out custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, waste disposal, and maintaining cleanliness in warehouses and other assigned areas.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistent cleanliness standards.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
- Contribute to a team environment while also being able to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in industrial or commercial cleaning, with a proven track record of maintaining cleanliness in large facilities or industrial environments.
- Physical Ability: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 lbs) safely and effectively. Must be physically fit to handle the physical demands of the role.
- Knowledge of Cleaning Procedures: Familiarity with cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Trustworthy & Responsible: Must be dependable and trustworthy, with a strong sense of responsibility to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality results, ensuring all areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Work Independently: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in collaboration with a team.
