Position: AutoCAD Designer (Commercial Fire Sprinkler Systems)

About the Role
This is a career opportunity in design and project management for automatic fire sprinkler systems in commercial tenant improvement and new construction projects. The role includes company-sponsored training and certifications related to these activities. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors to obtain required project information
• Develop detailed design drawings using AutoCAD
• Create material listings for assigned projects
• Perform hydraulic calculations
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate job handover and project continuity
• Maintain organized project records, including submittals, change orders, permits, and related documentation

Requirements (Must Have)

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with Bluebeam
• Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
• Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in new construction projects (tenant improvement experience also accepted)
