Responsibilities
- Coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors to obtain required project information
- Develop detailed design drawings using AutoCAD
- Create material listings for assigned projects
- Perform hydraulic calculations
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate job handover and project continuity
- Maintain organized project records, including submittals, change orders, permits, and related documentation
Requirements (Must Have)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with Bluebeam
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
- Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in new construction projects (tenant improvement experience also accepted)
