Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source and screen candidates for a wide range of roles, including drivers, technicians, operations staff, and administrative positions.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
- Attend hiring events, career fairs, and job expos to promote our company and connect with potential talent.
- Develop relationships with trade schools, community organizations, and local employment agencies.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback.
- Travel regularly (up to 50%) to support field recruiting efforts and hiring events.
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a high-volume or field-based environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to various sites, often on short notice.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (Workday experience preferred).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience recruiting in the waste management, logistics, construction, or industrial services sectors.
- Familiarity with high volume, CDL drivers and technicians hiring is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong asset.
