Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages daily route assignments to ensure all customers are properly serviced be contractual agreements
- Monitors service, safety and production of all drivers on the assigned route
- Manages driver time and attendance to ensure efficiency
- Responsible for resolving issues with Driver errors and missed customer pickups
- Oversees driver compliance with regulatory agency and company training
- Coordinates with Safety and HR teams for driver drug and alcohol testing and physical requirements
- Conducts appropriate investigations for all incidents and injuries appropriately suggesting areas of improvement and training
- Maintains a relationship with the dispatch team regarding customer service and any foreseeable issues
- Works with the Operational and HR teams to resolve any employee relation concerns
- Manages all appropriate documentation for the Department of Transportation compliance
- Manages and audits all daily driver documentation and data to include time and attendance, service tickets, and driver hours
- Promotes a union free workplace as appropriate
- Analyzes daily route and suggests areas of improvement to the Operation Management team
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Post-secondary education in business, computers, or office management
- Experience in the waste industry with DOT regulated positions
- Strong attention to detail
- Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor
