Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment including inspection and preventative maintenance repairs
- Maintain parts inventory, cleanliness in the shop and service vehicles
- Collaborate with maintenance team to diagnose problems with vehicles, plan, and make repairs
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks and heavy equipment
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles using our computerized maintenance management system
- High school or GED equivalent (Preferred)
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Welding experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- ASE Diesel Certification is an asset
