What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classroom Instructor position at FCC Behavioral Health?
Job Purpose
The Classroom Instructor works with the clinical team to provide education classes for day treatment and outpatient services. While this individual is a primary instructor for education classes, they will assure the consistency of curriculum content and delivery within a comprehensive treatment strategy.
Qualifications
- Meets criteria for RSA II, MAADC, or QAP
- Meets minimum requirements to be clinically privileged by FCC Behavioral Health
Core Job Duties
- Provide Substance Use Education Classes to all person(s)-served in accordance with program’s clinical treatment curriculum.
- Maintain educational resources and supplies – both digital and printed.
- Provide timely feedback to clinical staff regarding client engagement according to the Program Site Manual procedures.
- Provide curriculum training and fidelity checks for additional classroom instructors.
- Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
- Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
- Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
- Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
