Schedule & Benefits
- Starting pay of $25.00 per hour
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Typical hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime opportunities available
- Company-paid CMV certification available for qualified candidates
What You'll Do
As a CMV Truck Driver, you'll safely transport pallets, wooden crates, and other packaging products using a 26-foot flatbed or curtain-side box truck. You'll play an important role in ensuring customers receive quality products on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver finished products and transport materials between manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and customer locations
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Operate company vehicles safely while following DOT regulations and company policies
- Plan efficient delivery routes and meet scheduled delivery times
- Secure loads and assist with loading and unloading when necessary
- Record mileage, inspections, deliveries, and required documentation using Geotab and other company systems
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns, accidents, or safety issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle at all times
Successful candidates will have:
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CMV driving experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT regulations
- Experience using GPS or electronic fleet management systems such as Geotab is a plus
- Dependable attendance and strong time-management skills
- Ability to remain flexible when traffic, weather, or schedules change
- Willingness to complete background and drug screening
- Ability to move up to 50 lbs with regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing in/out trucks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
