What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities & Machine Maintenance Technician position at FCA Packaging?
Viking Packing Specialist is looking for an experienced Facilities & Machine Maintenance Technician to support our Tulsa-area operations. This hands-on position keeps equipment, tools, and facilities operating safely and efficiently across multiple locations.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair tools, equipment, and facility issues
- Diagnose problems and make repairs before calling outside vendors whenever possible
- Support maintenance needs across 4 Tulsa-area locations
- Respond quickly to equipment problems that affect production
- Perform general and preventative maintenance
- Work with vendors when specialized repairs are needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and functional work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Heavy facilities maintenance experience required
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work occasional overtime
- Ability to come in during evening/night hours when a production-critical repair is needed
Normal hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
If need to make repairs outside of business day hours, the night shift is Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM. Occasional evening/night call-ins may be required for production emergencies.
Pay: $22–$24/hour, depending on experience
