The Opportunity
This role is for a part-time coach who will lead player development, prepare and execute high-quality training sessions, and guide match day performance for a team within our high-level programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute engaging, high-intensity training sessions in line with FC Richmond’s methodology and curriculum.
- Lead the team during competitive matches
- Conduct Player Evaluations and create detailed Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each athlete.
- Utilize video analysis to enhance player performance and conduct video analysis sessions with players.
- Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and self-development as a coach.
- Uphold and model the club's values of Character, Competitiveness, and Community.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience coaching competitive youth soccer (e.g., ECNL, MLS NEXT, GA, or equivalent)
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a flexible and adaptable outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum U.S. Soccer Grassroots or D Coaching License
- Familiarity with PlayMetrics or other club management software
- Experience using video analysis platforms such as VEO or Taka
