Duties
Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, loading and unloading materials, and setting up work areas for safety and efficiency. Help with the transportation and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment around the site as needed. Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople by holding materials, mixing substances, or operating basic tools under supervision. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of waste properly and ensuring tools are stored securely. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to prevent accidents. Assist in setting up scaffolding, barricades, and safety signage to secure work zones. Report any hazards or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; willingness to learn on the job is highly valued. Physical ability to perform manual labor ( be able to lift around 50lbs) including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to team efforts. Basic understanding of construction safety practices; prior experience is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work collaboratively with team members. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities on busy construction sites. Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
