Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer with 4–6 years of professional experience to join our team. This role is heavily focused on production and technical documentation while maintaining a strong design sensibility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of translating design concepts into accurate construction documents. Strong communication skills and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit are essential for success in this role
Responsibilities
- Produce comprehensive construction documents, drawing sets, and technical detailing for interior design projects.
- Develop and maintain accurate plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, architects, consultants, and vendors throughout all project phases.
- Support design development by translating conceptual designs into detailed technical documentation.
- Ensure drawing packages meet company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes.
- Coordinate project documentation and revisions across multiple disciplines.
- Assist with material selections, finish schedules, furniture plans, and project specifications.
- Participate in client meetings and internal project reviews as needed.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of documentation.
- Support construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and addressing field conditions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in commercial, hospitality, workplace, healthcare, or mixed-use projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation standards and detailing.
- Solid knowledge of building systems, materials, finishes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and rendering software is a plus.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
