What You’ll Do:
- Analyze existing Informatica PowerCenter workflows, mappings, and sessions.
- Assist senior developers in converting and re-engineering workflows to be compatible with Informatica IDMC.
- Document conversion processes, challenges, and resolutions.
- Perform unit testing and validation of migrated workflows to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with senior developers to understand business logic and transformation rules.
- Support troubleshooting and debugging of migration issues.
- Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on progress.
- Learn about Farm Bureau Financial Services and the insurance industry by participating in organizational events.
Our internship program holds an 80/10/10 approach, meaning that 80% of your work time will involve performing tasks or work on projects within your hired work area. Another 10% of the time, you will be exposed to learning in other areas within your assigned division to get more corporate experience. Then, the final 10% will be spent in shared experiences across the organization, where you will get to really learn about our culture and work environment
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Familiarity with relation databases, data transformation, ETL, and data integration concepts and tools. Exposure to Informatica PowerCenter and/or Java coding is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to work a 38-hour work week during Summer 2026.
