Financial Services Interaction Specialist:
Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a Financial Services Interaction Specialist to serve as a central communication expert for Life and Annuity Operations. In this fast‑paced, detail‑sensitive role, you will manage all inbound email interactions—delivering timely, accurate, and empathetic responses to agents, internal partners, and client/members. You’ll research and resolve escalations, partner closely with other operational teams, and help ensure consistent, high‑quality communication for Life Operations. What You’ll Do:
As a Financial Services Interaction Specialist, you will respond promptly and professionally to email inquiries, ensuring positive experiences for agents, clients, and internal partners. You will monitor and manage a centralized inbox, delivering accurate and timely responses that support strong Agent Experience (AX) and Client Experience (CX). As inquiries arise, you will research root causes, evaluate potential solutions, and partner with business units to resolve complex issues. Clear and professional communication is essential, as you will help agents and client members understand the steps taken to address their requests and the expected timeline for resolution. You will maintain thorough documentation of interactions, issues identified, actions taken, and any required follow‑up. Additionally, you will share insights and feedback with business partners to support ongoing process improvements and help reduce escalated concerns.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
· College degree or equivalent experience in business communications or a related field is preferred.
· Previous experience in customer service or communications roles.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize time sensitive and escalated issues; adaptable and resilient to quickly changing priorities.
· Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required in addition to the ability to learn company products, processes and systems.
· Life and/or annuity knowledge preferred.
· Participation in professional designations (LOMA) preferred.
· Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.
