What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at Fayetteville Public Schools?
Fayetteville Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Special Services Department. The BCBA will play a key role in supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs by providing leadership, training, and expertise in the design and implementation of evidence-based behavioral programs. Job responsibilities include program structure and design, and ongoing guidance for Structured Learning Services classrooms and providing training and ongoing support for teachers and paraprofessionals in the implementation of behavioral strategies and interventions. The responsibilities also include conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and assisting in the development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and collaborating with special education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to promote positive behavioral supports, data-driven decision making and student success. Interested applicants must have a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential with experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Special Education teaching license is also preferred but not required.
