Duties
- Develop, plan, and oversee program activities that support individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs
- Coordinate daily operations of programs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and staff supervision to maintain high-quality service delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community agencies, and stakeholders to promote collaboration and trust
- Supervise staff members and volunteers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team environment
- Manage program budgets by tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring efficient use of resources
- Monitor program outcomes through data collection and evaluation methods; adjust strategies as needed to improve effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and best practices related to behavioral health and social services
- Maintain detailed administrative records including client files, incident reports, progress notes, and program documentation
- Facilitate communication across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address any issues proactively
- Support behavioral health initiatives by implementing evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Transport individuals using mini-buses and vans as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by Director.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in program development or coordination within social services or behavioral health settings
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people with developmental disabilities; experience in social work or related fields is highly desirable
- Strong relationship management skills to engage clients, families, community partners, and team members positively
- Excellent administrative skills with experience in budgeting, record keeping, and report writing
- Supervisory experience leading teams or overseeing staff performance in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of program management principles including planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement processes
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and understanding of developmental disabilities’ unique needs
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Compassionate communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
