FULL TIME POSITION. We are currently seeking a Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist to join our team. The Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist will provide counseling and support to help clients recover from substance abuse and modify problematic behaviors. This includes performing assessments, developing and reviewing treatment plans, conducting therapy, and managing cases from intake through discharge. Their duties include assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. They work in various settings, such as outpatient clinics, schools and other community settings. The Treatment Specialist is responsible for all aspects of D&A treatment record keeping through our electronic system as required by the agency, the licensing agents, as well as third party payers.
REQUIREMENTS: Strong interpersonal skills and strengths in the areas of organization and documentation are required. Applicants must be able to work independently with minimal supervision with a wide variety of clientele. Experience and training preferred. Must provide satisfactory Child Abuse, FBI, and PA State Police Clearances. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
