FAYCO Enterprises, Inc is looking for a Direct Support Professional that has a strong desire to have a positive effect on adults with developmental disabilities and a commitment to supporting and promoting their individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals.
The successful applicant for the Direct Support Professional will provide services to individuals with intellectual disabilities within the CILA program. This is an evening hour, weekend position.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in group home settings, assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their physical and emotional health.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
8th Grade Reading Comprehension
Successfully complete Direct Support Persons and Medication Administration training within 120 days of hire (This is a paid training)
Valid Driver's License
Good Driving Record
Be at Least 21 Years of Age
Be Able to Lift
This is a part-time position working approximately 25-35 hours per week with benefits working in Greenville
CNA's are encouraged to apply - $0.50 per hour enhancement
Shift Differentials - $1.00 per hour additional for weekend shifts
$1.00 an hour enhancement after successful completion of Medication Administration Training with the RN Nurse Trainer
Paid training to become a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
