MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER - 2nd Shift
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mold Processing Support: Completing the resin fill, oven processing, demolding, mold cleaning, and material movement required to return molds to the loading station
- Work with fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, nuts, helicoils, inserts, and adhesives
- Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies
- Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance
- Use basic hand tools, i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets amp; sockets, ruler, calipers
- Works within small team/group
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of previous mechanical assembly experience, preferably working with Aerospace products
- Self Starter
- Ability to work with little to no instruction and supervision
- Previous machine shop work practices background preferred
