RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain relationships with licensed cannabis retailers and distributors throughout Michigan.
- Represent Fawn River Cultivation Company with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm while promoting our brand and product portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities to expand market presence and increase sales volume.
- Conduct regular outreach, meetings, and product presentations with dispensary buyers and staff.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance metrics.
- Provide education and training to retail partners and budtenders on product offerings, cultivation practices, and company values.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account information in the company CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal departments including cultivation, processing, logistics, and accounting to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Attend trade shows, cannabis events, and vendor days to network and promote the Fawn River brand.
- Stay informed on Michigan cannabis laws, compliance requirements, and market trends to ensure all sales activities meet regulatory standards.
- Communicate market feedback, product performance, and competitor activity to the Wholesale Sales Department to inform strategy and development.
- Uphold all company policies, safety protocols, and compliance procedures established by the Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) and internal leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass all required background checks in compliance with the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer relations (cannabis industry experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
- Ability to travel regularly within the state of Michigan; reliable transportation is required.
- Deep passion for cannabis, education, and promoting responsible consumption.
- Knowledge of Michigan cannabis market trends, product types, and regulations preferred.
