What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser - Turret Press Set-up & Operator - 2nd Shift position at FAWN MANUFACTURING INC?
2nd Shift Position
Set-up and operate Laser cell and Turret presses, minimal forklift operations, piece part inspection.
Prerequisite:
Previous Turret Die setter or Laser Operator experience.
Able to read blueprints, scales, and calipers.
Physically able to do bending, twisting, gripping, and grasping.
Lift up to 75 lbs.
Physically able to stand for 8-hour periods or more.
Available for overtime.
Requires good hand-eye coordination, adequate communication skills.
Ability to read and understand written instruction, experience with related equipment.
Able to follow complex process sheets with little or no supervision.
Perform daily Laser Maintenance. Ex: Torch, lens, and dust collector cleaning and Maintenance.
Monitor Laser/Assist gases and have the ability to switch tanks.
Able to make minor program adjustments at the machine controller. Ex: goto's and tooling substitutions.
Ability to troubleshoot problems at the machine.
