Title: Operating Room Surgical Tech CST
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hospital, OR
Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-time 3x12s days 7am - 7pm. Holiday & call required
Pay: Starts at $26-29/hour and increases depending on experience and credentials
The Surgical Tech responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for a wide variety of procedures
- Ensure a sterile environment and uphold all principles of surgical asepsis throughout procedures, Adapt quickly to changes in patient condition or procedure requirements
- Work collaboratively with surgeons and the surgical team, anticipating needs and responding efficiently during procedures
- Serve as a mentor and resource for surgical technologists new to the OR or currently in orientation
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP)
- Minimum 1 year of experience within OR setting as a Surgical Tech
- Certified techs preferred but experienced non-certified techs are welcome to apply!
