About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Compliance & Onboarding Manager to lead a team responsible for credentialing and onboarding within our temporary staffing division. This role is critical to maintaining our Joint Commission (TJC) compliance and ensuring a seamless, efficient onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Credentialing
- Ensure full compliance with Joint Commission, federal, state, and client requirements
- Oversee credentialing processes (licenses, background checks, documentation)
- Maintain audit readiness and support internal/external audits
- Act as a subject matter expert on compliance standards
Operations & Performance
- Manage daily onboarding and credentialing operations
- Monitor KPIs (turnaround time, quality, service levels)
- Resolve escalations and ensure timely processing
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 5 employees
- Conduct performance reviews, 1:1s, and ongoing training
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and high performance
Process Improvement & Transformation
- Identify inefficiencies and implement workflow improvements
- Lead transition toward automation and tech-enabled processes
- Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Recruiting, HR, IT)
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare credentialing/compliance
- Strong knowledge of Joint Commission (TJC) standards and audits
- Proven Leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, or manager level)
- Strong operational mindset with ability to improve processes
- Data-driven approach to performance and reporting
- Highly tech savvy individual (data tracking tools, ATS, credentialing platforms, vendor portals, identifying inefficiencies and leveraging technology for automation and improved workflows)
Preferred:
- Experience in staffing or workforce solutions
- Exposure to onboarding automation or system implementation
