Role Description The Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Lubbock Area. This position is responsible for ensuring that Favorite Brands’ products are properly stocked, displayed, and promoted at retail locations. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining product displays, rotating stock to ensure freshness, checking shelf tags and pricing, and maintaining clean and organized shelves. The Merchandiser collaborates with sales representatives and store personnel to execute merchandising plans, implement promotional programs, and support new product launches. The role also involves regular store visits, inventory checks, and reporting on product visibility and merchandising opportunities.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage in-store merchandising activities, including stocking, rotating inventory, and building attractive product displays.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple store visits and priorities in a structured route or territory.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with store staff, sales teams, and management in a professional manner.
- Basic math and analytical skills to monitor inventory levels, pricing, and promotional compliance.
- Physical ability to lift and move cases of product, stand and walk for extended periods, and work safely in retail environments.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally within the Lubbock Area.
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail, beverage distribution, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, marketing, or related areas is a plus.
