Warehouse Receiving Clerk – Favorite Brands
Job Summary
The Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring all incoming products are accurately received, inspected, and recorded in a timely manner. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and invoices
- Inspect products for damages, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Accurately enter received goods into the inventory management system
- Label, tag, and organize products for proper storage within the warehouse
- Coordinate with warehouse team members to ensure timely stocking of received goods
- Maintain clean and organized receiving and staging areas
- Communicate with vendors, drivers, and internal departments regarding deliveries
- Assist with unloading trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment (as needed)
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures
- Support periodic inventory counts and audits
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned

- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures

Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience in beverage or distribution industry
- Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse receiving or inventory experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift experience preferred, certification a plus)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
