About This Role:

Role Overview:Universal Consulting Services (UCS) a subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) isseeking a motivated, mission-oriented Software Developer to work with our MEDLOG IT PMO customer at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD. This detail-oriented individual is obsessed with accuracy, and able to accept critical feedback because they are always looking to produce the highest quality outcome. This individual will be an imperative part of the Shelf-Life Extension Program (SLEP) Implementation team integrating other federal agencies into the organizational structure into LogiCole while expanding certain business capabilities. Specifically, we are looking for someone that can analyze and communicate customer requirements to a cross-functional team. The program is based in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This position is on-site three days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in agile team, backlog grooming, story sizing sessions
  • Develop code in accordance with design, 508 standards and style guides; any deviations from the standards require prior approval
  • Document designs, unit tests and code reviews


The “Need-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working on an Agile team and following Agile processes SCRUM and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • 4 years of experience with Full Stack Development, implementing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience with enterprise-level application development
  • Strong Java skills and experience with application servers such as WildFly/JBoss
  • Experience in building front-end application using Angular and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of design patterns applicable to Java EE solutions
  • Knowledge of design patterns common to Angular/JavaScript solutions
  • Experience using relational and/or NoSQL database systems
Professional Certifications:
N/AEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and an additional 7 years relevant experience
Clearance:Must be a U.S. Citizen; Can obtain a Public Trust clearance; and will be subject to a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only. Candidates who have recently completed T3 investigations are a plus


The “Nice-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience using MongoDB or another document-oriented database
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc
  • Experience using OAuth2/OIDC
  • Experience or certifications with cloud hosting solutions, particularly AWS
  • Microservice architecture / development experience
