Fava Law LLC, a boutique family law firm dedicated to providing compassionate, strategic representation, is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join our growing team.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated attorney with 5–8 years of experience practicing family law. The ideal candidate has strong litigation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a client-centered approach. You’ll work closely with our team of dedicated family law professionals on a variety of matters including divorce, custody, support, and post-judgment issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of family law cases from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, settlement agreements, and correspondence
- Conduct discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Advise and advocate for clients with professionalism, empathy, and integrity
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional legal service
- Maintain organized case files and meet all court and client deadlines
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the NJ Bar and in good standing
- 5–8 years of experience handling family law matters
- Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality representation
