Job Summary:
The sales representative is the primary point of contact for Faust Distributing in assigned accounts. Responsible for all business development activities with the goal of volume, share, and gross profit growth. Understands the competitive nature of the industry and strives to win. Ensures compliance with all product quality, customer service, and retail execution standards. Cultivates and maintains a productive professional relationship that promotes Faust as the distributor of choice.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all FDC policies and industry regulations
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Participate in all expected meetings, events, and training activities
- Execute against all Monthly Business Objectives and relevant Incentives.
- Be proactive and responsive in communication with assigned accounts and internally with all departments in the Faust team
- Complete all account visits and create all product orders as scheduled
- Develop productive working relationships in all assigned accounts
- Accurately count product inventories during each scheduled sales visit and maintain inventory levels appropriate to ensure product quality, availability in all expected points of purchase, and sufficient to support promotional sales activities
- Develop product knowledge competency across the entire Faust portfolio
- Ensure the product quality through diligent attention to freshness dates and rotation
- Manage all damaged and dated products in accordance with FDC policy
- Ensure account participation in all expected sales activities and programs
- Ensure all Faust products are accurate and competitively priced
- Relentlessly work to improve Faust assortment, visibility, position, and space
- Continuously work to discover and create new sales opportunities
- Utilize all relevant current point of sale items and sales aids to drive the awareness and purchase of Faust products in assigned accounts
Specialized Duties & Responsibilities:
Large Format – Grocery
- Maintain seasonally appropriate inventory build-to’s for each product
- Develop relationships across the entire store to create ‘cross-merchandising’ and ‘out of department’ display and point-of-purchase opportunities
- Effectively communicate with the Merchandising team to coordinate daily activities and service needs
- Provide Merchandising support as needed or directed by ASM
- Heightened attention and service for non-alcoholic products
- Ensure pricing accuracy and visibility for all products (signs & tags)
Small Format - Convenience, Drug, Neighborhood
- Ensure FDC competitive pricing, assortment, and space in singles bins and all points of purchase for single items in all controllable accounts
- Continuously work with the Category Management team to influence and execute cooler set activity.in all controllable accounts, and maintain set integrity in chain accounts
- Be the first line of defense regarding competitor’s activities and promptly communicate to your ASM those that impact FDC business
On Premise
- Aggressively sell Red Bull products and programming
- Have a basic understanding of draft beer systems and equipment and be able to trouble shoot simple issues - promptly communicate with the Draft Tech Lead for more complex ones
- Be aware of the FDC line cleaning schedule in draft accounts and promptly communicate any issues
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the FDC spirits portfolio and understand each account’s relationship with a Class B wholesaler and how to communicate and collaborate with that team to promote FDC business
- Visit all accounts as scheduled regardless of how orders are created or communicated
Required Skills/Abilities:
- The ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in VIP Karma, VIP POS, and Tagify
- Understanding of company performance metrics
- Able to pull, push, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Required to maintain a minimum coverage limit of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 on personal vehicle auto liability and property damage insurance.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be employed with Faust Distributing Company for 1 year or longer and
- Prior sales experience of 6 months or more in the beverage industry and/or
- Prior merchandising experience of 1 year or more in the beverage industry
Physical Requirements:
- Strength to lift, load, push, and pull cases and kegs weighing up to 130 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate a dolly, six-wheeler cart, and a powered/manual pallet jack.
- Ability to consistently bend, reach, and squat while moving and stocking products for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to work while exposed to indoor and outdoor weather conditions including high and low temperatures.
- Stamina to continuously stand and walk up to 8 hours a day.
Salary : $100,000 - $300,000
