OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We're looking for an Outside Sales Representative to grow our industrial abrasive products, sports field aggregates, and other specialty product lines throughout an assigned territory. This isn't a high-pressure, one-and-done sales job. It's about becoming a trusted resource, solving problems, and building lasting relationships with customers who count on you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (AKA THE GOOD STUFF):
Build Relationships That Last
Spend your days meeting with customers, learning about their operations, and becoming the person they call when they need solutions.
Grow Your Territory
Identify new opportunities, prospect for new business, follow up on leads, and continue growing existing customer accounts.
Solve Problems
Listen to customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right products and solutions to help them succeed.
Be the Face of Faulks Bros.
Represent our company with professionalism and integrity at customer locations, industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Own Your Business
Manage your territory, plan customer visits, and prioritize your time to maximize relationships and sales opportunities.
Work as One Team
Partner with operations, customer service, logistics, and fellow sales team members to make sure every customer receives outstanding service from quote to delivery.
Stay Ahead of the Market
Keep an eye on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to help identify new opportunities for growth.
Keep Things Organized
Track customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activity in our CRM and ERP systems so nothing falls through the cracks.
WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT FIT:
- You enjoy meeting people and building genuine, long-term relationships.
- You're confident prospecting for new business and growing existing accounts.
- You have 5 years of outside sales experience (industrial products, abrasives, aggregates, construction materials, or manufacturing is a big plus).
- You take a consultative approach to sales and enjoy helping customers solve problems.
- You're organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own schedule.
- You communicate well, whether you're presenting to a customer, writing an email, or working with teammates.
- You're comfortable using CRM and ERP systems to manage customer information.
- You work well independently but also enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
- You have a valid driver's license and are comfortable traveling throughout your territory, including occasional overnight trips.
