Schluter Systems, a pioneering global leader in innovative installation systems for tile and stone, is looking for a Product Information Manager to join our team in Plattsburgh, NY.
As a Product Information Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of the company's product information across all channels. You will have the opportunity to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical user groups to deliver accurate, consistent, and high-quality product data that powers our global eCommerce, marketing, and sales initiatives!
What you will do:
- Drive Data Vision: Define the PIM vision and drive delivery through a value-driven roadmap while establishing, prioritizing, and managing system data governance and user accessibility.
- Integrate Systems: Coordinate the integration of the PIM system across the existing technological ecosystem, including ERP, CRM, DAM, and eCommerce platforms.
- Optimize Data Architecture: Create and manage business rules, workflows, taxonomies, and hierarchies to support standard work, quality improvements, and multi-format source files.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with cross-functional teams worldwide—including Product Management, Marketing, IT, and Supply Chain—as well as external partners and consultants.
- Enable Stakeholders: Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on PIM processes, promote system benefits, and report on key performance indicators for product data quality.
Who you are:
- Educated & Experienced: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field, with proven experience in Product Information Management, data governance, or a related role.
- Tech & Platform Savvy: Strong knowledge of PIM platforms and project management, with highly desirable experience in ERP, CRM, or eCommerce systems.
- An Exceptional Communicator: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical users.
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with a strict focus on data quality, taxonomy, and process optimization.
- Globally Minded: Ready to manage international data standards and possess a willingness to travel both nationally and internationally.
