    • Review job quantities, run times, and labor reporting for accuracy
    • Correct discrepancies before job closeout
    • Maintain ERP integrity to support scheduling, costing, and delivery performance
  • Technical Leadership
    • Serve as primary technical resource for machining issues on the floor
    • Diagnose and resolve routine machining problems including tooling, offsets, fixturing, surface finish, and dimensional issues
    • Escalate complex issues to Programming or Site Leader as needed
    • Coach machinists and operators to build technical capability
    • Partner with Programming on new job launches and process improvements
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead machinists and operators across all departments
    • Manage staffing, attendance, and shift coverage
    • Provide clear expectations, coaching, and performance feedback
    • Address performance and behavioral issues promptly
    • Develop team capability through training and mentorship
    • Drive accountability to safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Quality & Safety
    • Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
    • Standardize setup documentation and best practices to improve repeatability and reduce variation between operators.
    • Collaborate with leadership to improve tooling, fixtures, and programming standards.
    • Support implementation of Lean initiatives and maintain documentation for setups and best practices.
    • Ensure all safety policies and quality standards are consistently followed.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Monitor key metrics including delivery, scrap, efficiency, and ERP accuracy
    • Identify and drive improvement opportunities
