Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to enhance overall experience
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
- Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is preferred; food handling experience is beneficial
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
