Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves picking and packing orders, loading and unloading shipments using a forklift, maintaining accurate inventory, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload pallets from delivery trucks using a forklift
- Stock, restock, and organize warehouse shelves and storage areas
- Maintain accurate inventory through regular counts and updates
- Coordinate shipments and pickups with carriers and drivers
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
- Provide online customer service support
- Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, and logistics partners
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer and tablet skills for navigating shipping and customer support software
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
