We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Assist with cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check processing.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
