Fat Daddy’s Server Job Description and Responsibilities
- Attend to guests upon entrance, present menus and daily specials
- Welcome guests, read and listen to people to determine beverage and food preferences, make recommendations, and take drink and food orders
- Assess guest needs and preferences, stay guest focused, and provide an excellent guest experience
- Prepare restaurant tables and work areas, with special attention to order and sanitation
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions; ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change; maintaining an accurate cash book
- Navigate and process transactions using the POS system
- Check guest identification and confirm they are of legal drinking age, comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Develop an efficient work pace
- Restock and replenish restaurant inventory and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work and dining area by removing trash and dirty dishware, cleaning tables, washing glassware, utensils and equipment
- Limit customer problems by restricting alcohol intake, and attempting to curtail inappropriate behavior
- Deal with complaints with a positive attitude
- Work as a team with fellow restaurant, bowling alley, and kitchen staff
- Willing to train the right individuals
- Day Shifts are available
- Nights and weekends are mandatory for this position
