We’re looking for a motivated Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while supporting our front-of-house operations. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, glasses, and silverware to keep dining areas tidy and inviting.
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and prep work under supervision.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Handle manual tasks like heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate kitchen equipment with care, including dishwashers and other small appliances.
- Maintain overall sanitation of the restaurant by adhering to health and safety standards related to kitchen hygiene.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and kitchen health standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or food prep tools is beneficial.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Experience with restaurant or catering environments enhances your ability to thrive in this role.
