Fat Baggers Inc. is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Setup & Programmer to join our machine shop team. We are seeking someone who can confidently set up, program, and operate CNC equipment while helping keep our 24-hour machining operation running smoothly.
Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
Responsibilties
- Set up and operate CNC machines
- Create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Select proper tooling, speeds, and feeds
- Perform machine setups and tool changes
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances
- Make program and machine adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Help keep machines running efficiently around the clock
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable and willing to work overtime as needed
Overtime as Needed / Weekend Machine Coverage
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overtime as needed
- Approximately 2-4 hours per day, depending on production needs
- Load raw material into machines
- Check tools and replace worn or broken tooling as needed
- Inspect machines for proper operation
- Perform basic machine maintenance
- Check coolant, tooling, and material supply
- Address minor machining or production issues Help ensure machines are ready to continue running unattended
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
