Fasttrax Marine & Detail in Nisswa is looking for a dependable, hands-on Marine Service Technician to help with seasonal boat winterization work, primarily shrink wrapping and marine oil changes.
This is a temporary/seasonal position paying $30 per hour. We are looking for someone who works efficiently, follows directions, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working around boats, trailers, tools, and outdoor equipment.
Responsibilities
- Shrink wrap boats for winter storage
- Perform routine marine engine oil and filter changes
- Assist with basic winterization and seasonal preparation tasks
- Safely use common hand and power tools
- Move, position, and work around boats and trailers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and company instructions
- Assist with other marine-service tasks as needed during the seasonal rush
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Marine, automotive, small-engine, or related hands-on experience preferred
- Shrink-wrapping or marine winterization experience is a plus
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working outdoors
- Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Willingness to learn Fasttrax procedures
